Counseling is an opportunity for you to explore internal compassion, kindness, gentleness, and sensitivity. Self-compassion is the fabric of healthy boundaries and therefore healthy and meaningful relationships - including the one you have with yourself. Counseling is about safety and trust. Counseling provides you a place that is supportive, encouraging, and free of judgment. As your counselor, I provide you with a warm, comforting and confidential space in which to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I’ll ask questions that facilitate your self- reflection, and I’ll provide observations and feedback that promote new ways of relating with yourself and others. Your counseling schedule is based on your needs. A typical individual counseling session is 50 minutes. I recommend one session per week until your needs can be assessed. Together we will explore your goals and develop a counseling plan. The next step is to contact me. I offer a free initial phone consultation. This initial phone consultation is completely confidential, and is a warm invitation for you to begin the positive change you seek. |
